Yacht Rock Detroit is happening at the iconic Roostertail venue, located right on the Detroit River — 100 Marquette Dr, Detroit, MI 48214.

Yes — the land-based party is 21+. The free Saturday river concert is all-ages for boaters.
Saturday features a free concert facing the water. Boaters are welcome to pull up and enjoy the live show from the river.
We encourage boaters to circle the Roostertail riverfront and enjoy the performance from the water. There will be no public drop-off points, and docking is not available unless arranged in advance. If you’d like to come ashore and enter the main event, you’ll need to coordinate with a nearby marina and enter through the venue’s front entrance with a valid ticket.

No ATMs on site — but all booths/bars accept both cash and card.

If you purchase a Weekend Captain or Admiral Pass, your VIP access will only apply on Saturday.
All Friday tickets, including those in a Weekend Pass, are general admission.

Parking and transportation
Most guests will park at Riverside Marina, where you’ll take a ferry or shuttle directly to the event.
If you arrive early, limited Roostertail parking may be available — at a higher price (surge pricing.)

Yes — if you park at Riverside Marina, you’ll have access to either a ferry or a shuttle that will take you directly to the event entrance.
The ferry is a 6-minute scenic ride on the Detroit River, and the shuttle offers continuous loops throughout the day for quick and easy access.
Rideshare drop-off should be at the main Roostertail entrance — 100 Marquette Dr, Detroit, MI 48214.
There are no separate lanes, so please expect some traffic and follow staff directions upon arrival.
If you’re being dropped off by a friend or family member, Riverside Marina is also an option and includes access to the ferry and shuttle.

The High Noon Deck Party is our all-out Saturday daytime throwdown — packed with booming DJ sets, nonstop dancing, and cocktails flowing on the floating river deck.
- If you have a Saturday ticket or Weekend pass, the Deck Party is already included, and you can come and go throughout the day — no restrictions.
If you purchase the standalone High Noon Deck Party ticket, you must arrive before 12 PM or 1 PM (depending on your ticket), and there is no re-entry once you’re inside.

This is a rain-or-shine event. Some performances may be moved indoors or adjusted based on weather, but the event will go on.
Bring a raincoat or poncho — umbrellas are not permitted.
We love pets, but no animals are allowed — service animals only.
Yes — we’ll have professional photographers and videographers on site.
By entering the event, you consent to potentially appearing in event media.
There are indoor restrooms throughout the venue, but expect longer lines during peak times.
We’ll also have outdoor porta potties available to help reduce wait times.
